Art Gallery Alert!

We stumbled upon this place on a recent trip to the Kootenays.  Bizarrely, inside is possibly one of the most comprehensive private art collection in BC.  Hans, the 72 year old, and equally characterful owner, saved the hotel from burn-out obsessed biker gangs five years ago.   Now the place is stuffed to the rafters with paintings - it must be worth a mil at least.  A great find and well worth a visit if you’re anywhere near Nelson, BC (Ymir is 15 minutes down the road).
